Posted in News and events on Mar 04, 2020

Pulse Australia congratulates Paul McIntosh on being named the 2020 Seed of Light Award recipient at the GRDC function last night.

Paul will be known to many, especially to those in the Northern Region, as the absolute guru on pulse agronomy, particularly chickpeas and mungbeans.

"He is a tireless worker for the industry and his extensive knowledge is only outstripped by his passion when it comes to helping farmers get the most out of their crops." says Nick Goddard, CEO of Pulse Australia. "He is a tremendous asset to the industry, and this award recognises his outstanding contribution over many years."

Paul joins an illustrious list of past Northern Region Seed of Light award recipients, including Loretta Serafin, Phil Burrill, Barry Haskins, Hugh Brier and Mal Ryley.

The Seed of Light is presented each year to someone who makes a significant contribution to communicating the outcomes of research.
